Ingredients:

  • A variety of mixed vegetables (carrot, drumstick, okra, etc.)
  • 1 medium-sized tamarind (soaked in water and extracted)

  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves and mustard seeds for tempering
  • 2 tablespoons of oil or ghee

Instructions:

  • Boil 100g Toor dal.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of Oil/Ghee in a Pan. Splutter mustard, 1 chopped onion/ Shallot, 1 green Chilli and few curry leaves and fry till golden brown colour.
  • Add 150g of vegetables, 1 chopped Tomato, boil for 5  mins. Add required amount of Tamarind juice
  • Add 15g /1 tbsp. of Aachi Hotel Sambar Powder
  • Add required amount of salt and add boiled Toor Dal and cook for 15 mins
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Tasty Aachi Hotel Sambar is ready to serve with hot rice.
