- 1 tablespoon Aachi Channa Masala powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Drain the soaked chickpeas, rinse, and cook them in a pressure cooker with water and a pinch of salt until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter, then add chopped onions and sauté until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates.
- Stir in Aachi Channa Masala powder and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked chickpeas and 1 cup of water. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, chapati, or naan. Optionally, add a squeeze of lemon for extra tang.
