Instructions:
- Drain the soaked chickpeas, rinse, and cook them in a pressure cooker with water and a pinch of salt until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter, then add chopped onions and sautĂŠ until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates.

- Add the cooked chickpeas and 1 cup of water. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
