  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, chopped

  • 2 cups water
  • Fresh coriander and mint leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

    • Rinse and soak basmati rice in water for 20-30 minutes, then drain.

        Cook the Rice

          • Add the soaked basmati rice and 2 cups of water to the pan.

          Cook and Serve

            • Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and fluffy, or pressure cook for 1-2 whistles.
